About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead our structural team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development of staff and staffing projections for ongoing and future projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the development of staff and staffing projections for ongoing and future projects
  • Assume responsibility for management and profitability of multiple complex large scale projects
  • Responsible for the development, management and training of staff
  • Manage the technical and contractual aspects of projects to ensure technical requirements are met
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Manage and lead the production of designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation
  • Assist in the establishment of and monitor adherence to discipline-related policies and procedures
  • Lead and effectually manage staff by modelling and driving a positive, one TTW culture
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent
  • Membership with Engineers Australia and CPEng
  • Minimum ten (10) years' experience in engineering design in a consulting environment
  • Ability to scheme up major projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
  • Excellent understanding BCA requirements and relevant Australian Standards
  • Demonstrated project management skills to deliver on time, on budget and to client requirements
  • Strong business acumen
