Job Title: National Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive National Service Coordinator to join our team at Hoban. As a key member of our service operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Receive and manage service requests, allocate tasks to field service technicians and subcontractors nationwide, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and manage regular maintenance for customer equipment, including dock levellers, scissor lift tables, roller doors, and car stackers.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, handling incoming calls and emails professionally and with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Follow-Ups and Reporting: Monitor open work orders, follow up on outstanding jobs, and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Administration: Manage job costing updates, maintain asset records, and handle customer correspondence.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in scheduling technicians, dispatching field staff, or coordinating service operations in a busy environment.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure accurate tracking and completion of work orders.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using computers and software systems for managing work orders and schedules.
  • Team Player with Leadership Qualities: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and its operation.
