Logistics Operations Specialist

The Logistics Operations Specialist will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and delivering actionable insights across transportation, finance, and vendor/customer management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clear, data-driven insights through confident analysis and presentations to internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors;
  • Forecasting and validating weekly/monthly demand, tracking variances and identifying trends that impact operations;
  • Driving continuous improvement across transportation, warehousing, and logistics through cost-to-serve and process analysis;
  • Partnering with finance on monthly cost tracking, freight accruals, and return rate analysis;
  • Leading vendor allocation strategies, product launches, and stock release planning;
  • Identifying and addressing supply chain inefficiencies through actionable recommendations;
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an analyst, logistics, or commercial operations role;
  • Strong data presentation skills – the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address operational challenges;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, with experience working with large datasets.
