Kids First Australia is seeking a qualified educator to join our team as an Early Years Educator and Curriculum Developer.

Salary: $45-$60 per hour (17.5 hours per week)

About the Role

This part-time, ongoing position offers a unique opportunity to nurture young minds and develop your career in early education and care.

You will work closely with the Early Childhood Teacher to innovate, develop, and implement the educational program, ensuring a stimulating and supportive learning environment for children.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of curriculum and lesson plans aligned with Kids First's Early Years Kindergarten Model
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to deliver high-quality educational programs
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect
  • Participate in ongoing professional development focused on relational pedagogy and trauma-informed practice

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in an early education and care setting
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding and commitment to working with diverse communities
