Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain health and safety policies that comply with current legislation and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions based on incident investigations.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and Australian HSE regulations, including preparing performance reports for management.
- Lead initiatives to enhance safety performance and sustainability practices, collaborating with teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Develop and execute comprehensive safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Minimum 5 years of health and safety experience, ideally in manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety required, with additional certifications like Certificate IV in WHS and First Aid/CPR training desirable.
- Strong expertise in developing and implementing health and safety management systems, including ISO45001 compliance.
- Proven ability in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills, with the ability to influence and drive cultural change across all levels.
