Lead Metallurgist

We are seeking a self-driven and enthusiastic project metallurgist to contribute to our team at the copper concentrator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strong safety culture, environment of continuous improvement, and innovation within the metallurgical team.
About the Role- Contribute to plant performance investigations and implementing improvement actions in consultation with operations teams, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement operational improvement projects to increase plant safety, throughput, recovery, and quality.
- Undertake process plant surveys and subsequent work scopes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience in minerals processing with experience at either a project or plant metallurgist level.
- Previous exposure to operation of base metal concentrators including daily troubleshooting and optimisation of SAG milling and sulphide flotation circuits.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to plant performance improvements and implementing operational excellence initiatives. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of operational improvement projects to enhance plant safety, throughput, recovery, and quality.
