Job Title: Head of Secondary Studies

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Head of Secondary Studies at Warren Central School. As a key member of our school leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and driving academic excellence.

About the Role

The Head of Secondary Studies will be responsible for leading and managing the secondary school curriculum, ensuring that it is aligned with the school's strategic priorities and meets the needs of our students. You will work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning programs that promote student engagement and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the secondary school curriculum, ensuring alignment with the school's strategic priorities and state curriculum requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning programs that promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Provide leadership and support to teachers and staff to improve teaching and learning practices, including the use of data and assessment to inform instruction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the local community to promote the school's values and mission.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the school's strategic priorities and state requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Proven experience in leading and managing curriculum development and implementation.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teachers and staff.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, staff, and the local community.Knowledge of state curriculum requirements and the ability to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning programs.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on student outcomes and academic excellence.What We Offer
