Project Description:

  • Oversee the delivery of a major construction project.
  • Manage re-design requirements throughout the construction phase.
  • Oversee contract administration, variations and claims.
  • Engage with contractors and consultants.
  • Manage the technical construction/delivery phase of the project.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required.
  • Manage the staging of construction deliverables, with all impacted stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects, ideally within a consultancy or contractor.
  • The ability to understand 'the big picture' of what clients are trying to achieve with their projects – the reason for the project is critical to success.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Soft skills, attitude and aptitude will be crucial to success in this role.
  • High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience with construction phases of complex projects, in sectors such as Industrial, Health, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing/Processing, Data Centres or related areas.
  • Automation experience is highly regarded.
  • A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Ability to travel across metro regions.
