Job Title

Heavy Vehicle Technician is responsible for servicing and maintaining trucks and buses in line with industry standards. This role involves carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of various components such as steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, braking systems, and drivelines.

The ideal candidate will have a Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification and experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands. They should also possess some exposure to light auto-electrical work, a pro-active attitude, and a positive safety mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and buses
  • Steering and suspension repairs
  • Electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
  • Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
  • Component overhauls
  • Driveline repairs
Requirements
  • A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification
  • Experience with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands
  • Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
  • A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
  • A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
