Hotel Housekeeping Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Houseperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to guest enquiries, delivering linen and guest amenities, cleaning guests rooms, and carrying out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to guest enquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Delivery of linen and guest amenities to service areas
  • Cleaning guests rooms as required
  • Carrying out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel
  • Moving furniture, cots and rollaway beds as required
  • Transferring dirty linen and removing rubbish, recycling where possible
  • Cleaning public areas: pool, tennis court, vacuuming restaurant
  • Safe handling and use of chemicals
  • Assist with regular equipment stocktaking
  • General cleaning including rooms as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous cleaning experience, previous Hotel House Person experience highly desirable
  • A can-do positive attitude & service with a smile
  • A keen eye for detail whilst having good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable to use a two way radio
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Flexible in your availability to work on a rotating 7 day roster including weekends & school holiday's (& overnight when required)
  • Understanding of correct chemical usage & manual handling techniques to ensure safe work practices in this physical role
