Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the role of Data Insights Analyst. This position is ideal for an individual who has a strong analytical background and experience in identifying insights and opportunities for product development and enhancement.

The primary objective of this role is to drive customer analysis on activity and revenue growth across the Markets product and service suite. This includes working effectively with stakeholders to deepen existing relationships, solve challenges, deliver value, and identify opportunities for improved market quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models to support business decisions.
  • Promote new products and initiatives, aligning analytical solutions with client objectives, to new and existing relationships and maintain regular strategic engagements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or any major field.
  • Proven analytical experience, scripting and data analysis tools and languages.
  • Quantitative data skills using Python and/or R to access data and visualise/analyse data sets and trends.
  • Understanding of global markets, investment banking, proprietary trading and asset management.
  • Energetic self-starter, self-motivated and highly resourceful.
Nice To Have
  • An understanding of the role an exchange plays in a financial market.
  • Experience with two or more ASX key markets and its products and services.
