About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Strategy Consultant to join our Customer Consultancy team at Squiz. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve their business and digital objectives by leveraging modern software capabilities and digital best practices.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in digital strategy, web agency, or consulting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work in a timely manner. You will have exceptional communication, relationship management, and commercial skills, with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and prioritise customer needs and pain points in relation to digital experience design, delivery, and management
  • Design, plan, and facilitate stakeholder engagement and discovery workshops
  • Transform big ambitions into clearly articulated and actionable roadmaps and presentations
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the Squiz Digital Experience Platform (DXP) capabilities and other tools within the customer's wider ecosystem to improve their digital experiences
  • Inspire customers with opportunities to deliver industry-leading web solutions alongside a clear path to execution
  • Identify the resources, activities, and technologies required to implement solutions (or proactively engage with stakeholders to define this)

Requirements

  • Previous consulting or digital advisory-related experience: consulting, design, or digital agency
  • Workshop design and facilitation from senior to operational stakeholders
  • Demonstrate critical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills (proficient in creating visually engaging PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations)
  • Presence and professional presentation for customers
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience conducting research, surveys, or interviews, and gleaning insights from data
  • Ability to steer cross-functional teams to achieve shared outcomes
  • Client management experience, helping to create and drive revenue opportunities
  • Pragmatism over purity
  • Intellectual curiosity and solution-orientated approach
  • Passionate about digital solutions
  • Commercial acumen

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within or with government, higher education, telcos, financial services, and utilities industries
  • Quantitative research and analysis experience
  • Familiarity using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
  • Experience preparing proposals, pitches, and high-level quotes and estimates
