About the Role

The Family Preservation and Reunification Senior Practitioner will contribute to high-quality practice through informal supervision, coaching, consultation, support, and training for staff and students. This role will also be responsible for developing services and quality improvement practices, and providing casework in the FPR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop clinical interventions and family-centred practice with vulnerable children, young people, and families with complex needs.
  • Provide sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and policies relating to child welfare and the Best Interests of the Child Practice Model.
  • Develop highly developed skills in assessing risks, needs, and safety for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
  • Utilize highly developed interpersonal, communication, written, verbal, and computer skills.
