At MacKillop Family Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to high-quality practice through informal and additional supervision, coaching, consultation, support, and training for staff and students. They will also be involved in the development of services and quality improvement practices, as well as providing casework in the FPR team.

This is a fixed part-time opportunity based in Mildura, VIC, within our Family Preservation and Reunification Program. The position reports to the FPR Practice Leader.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. Extensive experience and skills in assessment and clinical interventions and family-centered practice with vulnerable children, young people, and families with complex needs.
2. Sound knowledge of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and policies relating to child welfare and the Best Interests of the Child Practice Model.
3. Highly developed skills in assessing risks, needs, and safety for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
4. Highly developed interpersonal, communication, written, verbal, and computer skills.
