We are seeking an accomplished Cyber Defence Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust cyber defence architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive strategic objectives
- Design and develop cutting-edge cyber defence solutions to mitigate threats
- Implement and continuously improve defensive technologies to ensure proactive threat detection and response
- Lead incident response events to minimize disruption
- Conduct simulation exercises to test threat preparedness and response capabilities
- Automate repetitive tasks using automation tools
- Collaborate with businesses to share knowledge and enhance cyber security posture
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in cyber defence
- Significant experience working in a similar role, preferably within a Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environments and security technologies
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and compliance standards, including MITRE ATT&CK and NIST
- Naturally inquisitive and analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
- Genuine interest and passion to learn and develop new skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or Cyber Security, or equivalent discipline
