Job Title: Assurance Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Monitoring: Monitor incoming event queues using security management tools to identify, categorize, prioritize, and investigate correlated events.
  • Incident Response: Perform investigation and triage of events and incidents, escalating according to SOPs, and communicating with multiple teams on security and operational incidents.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop reports, dashboards, real-time rules, and filters on a large-scale system, and identify improvements in event generation and monitoring platforms.
  • Procedure Development: Develop/iterate on event/incident procedures, long-term analysis, investigation processes, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical education, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, with experience in cloud-based environments, preferably OCI.
  • Skills: SIEM experience, including rules and signatures configuration and tuning, experience in Linux-based operating systems, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a critical and considerate eye for detail.
