School Grounds Maintenance Officer

The role of the Maintenance Person is a vital part of ensuring the school's grounds and buildings are safe and well-maintained.
- Assist with gardening and general grounds maintenance tasks as required.
- Undertake general maintenance and minor building works.
- Mowing and edge clearing as required.
- Assist tradespersons working on site.
- Checking the school grounds to ensure the grounds are safe.
- Keep storage facilities clean, tidy and safe, including signage for OHS risks.
- Working through a schedule of regular tasks and maintenance audits.
- General setting up and packing away after events.
- General handyperson duties as directed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and with minimum supervision in a team environment.
- Hold a full drivers license.
- Attend meetings and safety inspections.
- Assist with moving furniture.
- Perform other duties as directed by Principal, Assistant Principal and Business Manager.
