Job Opportunity:

As a seasoned technical leader, we seek a Senior Engineer to drive design activities and project submissions. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and substantial work experience.

The successful candidate will coordinate overall design efforts, ensure quality control, and meet client expectations while managing budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement independent design tasks, review team work, prepare construction documents, and deliver projects successfully.
  • Manage complex projects with ease.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships within the project team.
  • Stay up-to-date on applicable codes and standards.
  • Perform final QA/QC review of project submissions.
  • Develop project schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
  • Work closely with project teams to define and deliver scope of work.
  • Support quality assurance and quality control processes to enhance deliverables and reduce errors.
  • Conduct design calculations, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Develop and maintain design budgets for complex scopes of work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant Engineering from an ABET-accredited school or related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years' job-related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of the A/E industry and ability to resolve complex design and construction issues quickly.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Software, or similar programs.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to technical excellence.
  • Proactive in staying current with industry standards and emerging technologies.
