At Lawson Elliott, we're seeking a skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in enhancing our innovative approach to accounting, working closely with clients and leadership to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience within a reputable firm, with prior payroll cycle experience and hands-on usage of Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time and organize tasks effectively are essential.

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a full spectrum of bookkeeping tasks, including preparing, reviewing, and lodging BAS and IAS. You will also provide payroll services for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles, and communicate with clients in-person, over the phone, and via email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full spectrum of bookkeeping using Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
  • Providing payroll services for weekly/fortnightly/monthly pay cycles
  • Prepare, review, and lodge BAS and IAS
  • Communicating with clients in-person, as well as over phone and email
  • Processing superannuation payments quarterly

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years bookkeeping experience within a reputable firm
  • Prior payroll cycle experience
  • Hands-on usage of Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in managing time and organizing tasks effectively
