Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Software Engineer
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development, integration and maintenance of software systems that support the operation and management of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing and testing software applications for ground control systems, ensuring compliance with project standards.
This is a challenging opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on aerospace or Defence systems preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C# or Python.
- Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (Git, JIRA).
- Other desirable skills include experience in the Aerospace industry and design and development work with Human Machine Interfaces.
This role may require occasional travel to support field testing and customer engagements.
