About the Role:

You will be joining a team of experienced engineers working on mobile apps.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining software that solves engineering problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create software that is reliable, scalable and secure
  • Design and perform sophisticated testing activities
  • Resolve development or production issues efficiently
  • Contribute to Xero's engineering standards and frameworks
  • Maintain and grow knowledge of development technologies used in software applications

Requirements:

  • Strong advocate and teacher of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated tooling
  • Proficient with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tooling
  • Able to make major code design decisions for individual products
  • High coding standards and an emphasis on testing
  • Experience in developing software that is secure, performant and scalable
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience using and keeping up with latest .NET development trends
  • C# and .NET proficiency
  • Experience working with AWS and Kubernetes
