As a Legal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal counsel and support to senior leaders in child protection matters.

Mandatory Qualifications
  • You must be admitted or eligible for immediate admission as a Barrister-at-Law or solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
  • Possessing a valid 'C' class driver's licence is mandatory.
  • You are expected to be available on-call for out-of-hours emergency legal advice and support.
Desirable Requirements
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is highly recommended.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and represent senior leaders in child protection related legal matters.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Provide independent legal advice to staff members.
  4. Support other legal advisors to meet priorities and deadlines.
  5. Contribute to creating a culture that supports our vision and values.
