Job Opportunity

We are seeking seasoned professionals to join our Financial Services Risk Management team in Sydney and Melbourne.

You will work with clients across banking, insurance, and superannuation sectors, helping them enhance risk management. Our team provides strategic advice and execution support to Australia's leading financial institutions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver Engagements: Manage end-to-end components of client projects, including production of deliverables, client management, and supervision of junior team members.
  • Help Clients: Work directly with clients to understand their business models, financial structures, and specific risk exposures.
  • Assess Risks: Evaluate client financial and non-financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risks.
  • Provide Risk and Regulatory Advice: Advise clients on various risks, including regulatory requirements from APRA, ASIC, and AUSTRAC.
  • Design Risk Management Frameworks: Assist clients in developing or enhancing their risk management approaches.
  • Conduct Due Diligence Assessments: Help clients involved in mergers and acquisitions vet the associated risks.
  • Develop Technology Solutions: Collaborate with our Technology Consulting team to create innovative risk technology solutions.
  • Conduct Training and Education: Educate clients on risk management best practices and emerging trends.
Requirements for Success
  • 1+ years of experience in a financial services consulting firm or major financial institution, focusing on risk culture, conduct, and compliance, regulatory and risk reporting, financial crime, or operational risk.
  • Experience supervising consultants (for a Manager role).
  • A high level of drive and initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A degree in finance, commerce, law, STEM, or similar, with post-graduate qualifications viewed favourably.
