As a Reinforcing Scheduler at InfraBuild, you will play a crucial role in the design, modelling, and documentation of reinforcing steel for major construction projects in Australia. Reporting to the Detailing Manager, you will interact with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers and internal stakeholders to determine customer needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each project.
Your Responsibilities- Create bar bending schedules for high-rise and infrastructure projects
- Engage with clients and design engineers to achieve optimal outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders
- Implement design changes and updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Understand project objectives and advise on engineering solutions
- Previous experience as a reinforcing detailer or reinforcing scheduler
- Technical detail-oriented mindset, able to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience in working and managing multiple stakeholders in a project
- Strong understanding of reo manufacturing concepts, limitations, and constructability aspects
- Proficiency in Revit, TEKLA, AutoCAD, or similar software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Diploma, certificate, or degree in civil/structural engineering, drafting, architecture, or construction management
