Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned risk and compliance professional to join our team as a Risk and Compliance Oversight Partner.

The successful candidate will provide independent oversight and strategic leadership to support senior management in enhancing the risk-aware culture at our organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about driving continuous improvement in risk practices and leading assurance reviews across various technical risk areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance the risk and compliance oversight strategy.
  • Conduct Line 2 assurance reviews and drive improvements across technical risk areas.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management and deliver timely reports on risk and compliance performance.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in risk or compliance roles within financial services or regulated industries ideally insurance.
  • In-depth understanding of APRA standards, the Insurance Contracts Act, and the General Insurance Code of Conduct.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to diverse audiences.
