We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rail Infrastructure Maintainer to join our team in Muswellbrook. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and upgrading our rail infrastructure to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our network.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and upgrade rail infrastructure through planned maintenance, repairs, and minor construction projects.
- Operate a range of heavy machinery to perform tasks such as track renewal, ballast cleaning, and equipment operation.
- Conduct visual inspections and analyse data to identify potential issues.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and customers to ensure a smooth operation.
- Utilise technology such as computers, tablets, and ARTC software to complete tasks and documentation.
- Prioritise safety by identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Current manual driver's license or ability to obtain.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Past or present Rail Industry experience, specifically in track maintenance.
- Current Rail Industry Competencies.
- Track Safety Awareness (One Track) qualifications.
- Construction industry induction (white card).
