Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Sustainability Specialist.

This role is responsible for ensuring clients are compliant with their green lease obligations and sustainability policy objectives.

The Sustainability Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying opportunities to improve building efficiency and implementing other sustainability measures.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in property sustainability.

Our organization will provide training and support for NABERS assessor accreditation.

This role can be based out of various locations across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a program of NABERS assessments, including allocating resources and managing scheduling.
  • Travel to client sites to complete assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in broader sustainability projects, working with our sustainability team to develop business cases through analysis of utility or waste data.
  • Continually improve processes and documentation used by our NABERS assessors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • A flexible and service-oriented personality with a passion for sustainability and environmental improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and conditional formatting.
  • NABERS assessor accreditation or a strong understanding of the NABERS rating process.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a field related to property sustainability.
