Aircraft First Officer Position

As an Aircraft First Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of commercial aircraft. This role involves working closely with the captain to maintain the highest level of safety and efficiency.

This position requires a significant amount of flying experience, including 1500 hours of total flying time and 500 hours of Multi-Engine Command experience. You must also hold a valid CASA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate and meet the requirements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on an Australian Instrument Rating – Multi Engine Aeroplane.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CASA Frozen ATPL (CPL with ATPL subjects)
  • A CASA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate
  • ICAO Level 6 proficiency in English language
  • Current endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on a current Australian Instrument Rating – Multi Engine Aeroplane
  • A Multi-crew Cooperation Course (MCC)
  • At least 1500 hours of total flying experience
  • 500 hours flying experience on Multi-Engine Command
  • Or 500 hours as a First Officer on transport category aircraft
  • The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
  • The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • The unrestricted right to live and work in Australia/New Zealand
