We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team in a leading aged care facility in Cairns, QLD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and lead the care team to achieve exceptional results.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to promote person-centred outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering trust and effective communication.
- Lead and support care staff in delivering outstanding care services.
- Manage medication according to resident needs and legislative requirements.
- Contribute to operational duties and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
- Work collaboratively towards achieving budget goals and outstanding results.
What We're Looking For:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proven leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
- Proficiency in computer systems, understanding of WHS responsibilities, and knowledge of Aged Care Legislation.
- Availability to work full-time hours and a valid police check clearance.
- Full Australian working rights and a collaborative mindset.
