Job Title: Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to join our team in a leading aged care facility in Cairns, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and lead the care team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to promote person-centred outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, fostering trust and effective communication.
  • Lead and support care staff in delivering outstanding care services.
  • Manage medication according to resident needs and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to operational duties and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Work collaboratively towards achieving budget goals and outstanding results.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, understanding of WHS responsibilities, and knowledge of Aged Care Legislation.
  • Availability to work full-time hours and a valid police check clearance.
  • Full Australian working rights and a collaborative mindset.
