Agronomy Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agronomy Sales Specialist to join our team at Nutrien Ag Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region, with a focus on broadacre cropping and cotton production.
Key Responsibilities- Consult and offer expert product knowledge to our existing client base in Dalby and the surrounding area.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business goals and sharing technical and market information to enable them to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting broadacre and cotton clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices and coordinate field days and farmer meetings to position yourself as a subject matter expert in the region.
- Established experience as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role, with a strong understanding of the products, seasonal timings, and general requirements of rural producers.
- Sound customer service, organisational, administrative, and computing skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding the sales process and strong sales activity and call cycle management.
- A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar agronomy role.
