About the Role

Slade Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team in a permanent part-time position. This role involves working across Brisbane Waters Private Hospital and Gosford Private Hospital, located approximately 13 kilometres apart.

The successful candidate will work 62-hours fortnights, with shifts at Gosford on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and at Brisbane Waters on Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. A 30-minute break is included in the shift hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions, and discharge
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines
  • Review and completion of monthly reports
