Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to provide exceptional care for individuals with disabilities in the Albany region.

Our clients require support across all areas of daily living, including shopping, employment, cooking, and personal care. We are looking for someone who can help our clients access their local community, participate in recreational activities, and develop independent living skills.

This is a casual position, approximately 20 hours per week, with opportunities for high-need experienced workers. Full training will be provided. The successful candidate must have a certificate III in Community Services (Disabilities) or equivalent experience, as well as demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to clients with disabilities across multiple areas of daily living
  • Help clients access their local community and participate in recreational activities
  • Develop independent living skills to promote choice, inclusion, and independency
  • Work collaboratively with a team to provide comprehensive support to clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Community Services (Disabilities) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to physically care for high needs individuals
  • Contemporary understanding and attitude towards working with people with a disability
