About the Role
In this 12-month position, reporting to Andrew Mellor, Manager Flood Awareness Communications, the Targeted Flood Community Engagement Lead will be responsible for finalising the design and leading the delivery of the targeted flood community engagement stream.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy to educate and inform the public about flood risk and mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Design and deliver engaging content for various channels, including social media, email, and print materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, local government, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the community engagement strategy and make recommendations for improvement.
