Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Expert

This is a rare opportunity to join a leading data centre operator at the forefront of AI, cloud, and mission-critical infrastructure development.

The role involves taking a lead technical position in the design and delivery of new and expansion data centre builds, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and consultants to deliver concept design, feasibility, and construction-stage support. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low-voltage & high-voltage systems, uninterruptible power supplies, diesel generators, switchgear, power distribution units, static transfer switches/automatic transfer switches systems, and power distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer requirements are embedded into engineering solutions, particularly those from hyperscaler and enterprise clients.
  • Influence future site acquisitions, design optimisation, and electrical strategy aligned with leading-edge technology.
  • Contribute to proposals, tenders, and load balancing models, while advising on redundancy and resiliency.

What You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in electrical engineering (data centre or mission-critical, highly regarded).
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes, technical standards, and compliance in critical environments.
  • Experience managing consultants and challenging designs to achieve the best outcomes for cost, performance, and client objectives.
