Job Overview

As a Cremation Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting grieving families with compassion and care in a meaningful operational environment. You will be part of a team that helps families say goodbye with peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cremation and ashes processing equipment
  • Sort and tag pets accurately, ensuring proper documentation
  • Prepare and QA ashes for return to clients
  • Assist with unloading pets and managing cool room storage
  • Greet clients for viewings and deliver ashes to homes or vet clinics
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the crematorium facility
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Liaise with internal teams and vet clinics as needed
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in high-temperature environments, has experience with industrial equipment and power tools, and is physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks. You should also have strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures, good computer and technical skills, and emotionally intelligent and professional communication skills.
