Software Engineering Leader Position

This role involves high-level software engineering, focusing on the design, development, and deployment of contemporary backend systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers across regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy modern backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Work with QA engineers to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the implementation of cloud transformation initiatives, including greenfield architecture and scalable infrastructure.
Required Skills:
  • At least 8 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
  • 2+ years of experience in Kotlin programming language.
  • Proficiency in Quarkus framework (1+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Kafka messaging system, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases (3+ years).
  • Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using Jenkins, with exposure to vulnerability management and code coverage tooling.
  • Proficient in monitoring and logging with tools such as Dynatrace.
  • Cloud experience, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Solid background in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Ability to collaborate across distributed teams and work with tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
