Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, with a focus on building scalable and reliable backend systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex integration environments and contribute to the development of a flagship SaaS product.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building robust integrations with third-party systems, as well as working collaboratively with Product Managers and UX Designers to ensure solutions are scalable, practical, and user-focused.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in SaaS or complex integration environments
  • Strong proficiency in Java with a solid grasp of functional programming principles
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services such as S3 and Lambda
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform
  • Skilled in working with relational databases, including SQL and CRUD operations
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Security and security best practices for backend systems
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining API-centric architectures
