Valuation Modelling and Economics Role

Ey Parthenon is a leading advisory firm that helps clients achieve their strategic objectives through transformative strategy, transactions, tax, and corporate finance.

We are seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager with expertise in valuation modelling and economics to join our team in Brisbane or Sydney. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals, you will provide advisory services to clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets.
  • Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team, managing and preparing valuation reports.
  • Think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
  • Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel, other EY project teams, and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes.
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
