Warehouse Assistant Wanted

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in logistics and supply chain management.

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking and dispatching customer orders, as well as maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards within the warehouse.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will also be required to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders
  • Receiving, labeling, and storing of incoming goods
  • Conducting, sorting, loading, and unloading of vehicles
  • Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
  • Forklift operations within the warehouse where required
Requirements:
  • Previous warehousing experience within receiving, pick, pack and/or dispatch
  • Good communication skills, a great work ethic and a 'can do' attitude
  • Forklift Licence and/or high reach experience an advantage
  • A customer service mindset and the ability to work well in a team
  • Experience with computer systems and/or RF handsets highly regarded
