This is an exciting opportunity to join the UniSC Careers team as an Academic Success Officer. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the success of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students at UniSC.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance Student Success: Provide advice and services to students and key stakeholders to enhance student success, retention, and completion rates.
- Support Operational Objectives: Focus on achieving operational objectives that enhance the success and positive experiences of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students.
- Engage with Students: Engage with, support, and monitor students across campuses to ensure their academic and personal needs are met.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual who has a strong track record of supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students throughout their academic journeys. You will be a passionate advocate for the Buranga Centre and a champion of Indigenous advancement across the university.
You will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be able to interact with a diverse range of people, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and exercise initiative and independent judgment.
