**Specialist Anaesthetist Opportunity:**

A Level 4 Health Facility in the Bega Valley has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Specialist Anaesthetist to join its medical team.

Job Description:

Providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical services is a key responsibility of this role. This includes undertaking supervision and education within the clinical environment of junior medical staff and other relevant staff.

Utilising information systems enables informed decision making and care planning. Effective communication with staff and clinicians ensures quality and continuity of care.

Active participation in risk management and quality programs improves organisational processes and personal practices.

Compliance with relevant legislation, NSW Ministry of Health policies and procedures is essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Anaesthetics
  • Demonstrated significant experience in Anaesthesia practice, including trauma obstetrics, paediatrics and emergency scenarios
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership
  • Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
  • Effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Alignment with NSW Health CORE values and SNSWLHD Values, goals and strategies
