
Sales Territory Manager

About the Role:
As a territory manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated area.
Key responsibilities include executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, meeting ambitious growth targets, and acting as the company's on-the-ground representative.
This requires a proactive and hands-on approach with a focus on expansion and long-term customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will prioritize daily efforts that optimize growth performance and drive value for customers.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, support, and regional sales teams, you'll share field insights to inform product development and innovations.
Key qualifications include sales and customer success expertise, beef industry experience, and the ability to manage a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success.
Additionally, you will be able to use critical thinking to make informed decisions, collaborate effectively with others, and thrive under pressure.
What Your Day Could Look Like:
- Prospecting & Expansion: Sourcing new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and other channels.
- Managing the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close.
- Hitting Sales Targets: Managing your pipeline and meeting high-growth sales targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and successfully negotiating contracts with customers.
- Customer Account Management: Maintaining close relationships with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction, provide support, and address any challenges they face.
- Territory Ownership: Taking ownership of your territory and working with regional agricultural groups to foster deep relationships across the industry.
- Field Learnings & Feedback: Serving as the primary point of contact for gathering customer feedback in your territory and sharing insights with product, support, and R&D teams.
