Territory Sales Manager - VICatNestlé.
Location: Melbourne (Western Suburbs and CBD – including a regional territory, VIC).
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Nestlé is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team.
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing merchandisers, driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within your assigned territory through winning in-store and executing a commercial plan.
Excitement through cutting in new lines, driving distribution, trade standards and display building are the key drivers for the role.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
Build strong relationships with customers within the Impulse and Convenience channel.
Conduct face-to-face meetings with stand-alone and multi-site customers to understand needs, present product offerings, and negotiate sales agreements.
Collaborate with wholesalers and internal customer teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
Manage casual merchandisers within the territory.
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
Drive distribution, trade standards and display building.
Deliver cycle-priority KPIs.
Regional Travel Requirements
You will be responsible for visiting clients, prospects, and other stakeholders to build relationships and drive sales growth.
The role requires consistent monthly travel within the defined territory, approximately 3 nights away from home per month.
You will be expected to plan and manage your travel schedule efficiently to maximize productivity and meet sales targets.
Attendance at industry conferences and sales meetings is part of the role.

What you will bring
Sales and/or FMCG experience preferred – Impulse channel and/or supermarkets including store or department management.
Basic Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI.
Outgoing, approachable and passionate about sales; manages the territory as if it's your own business across Impulse and Convenience customers.
Confident communicator with adaptable communication style.
Valid Full Driver's License.
Willingness to travel and stay away from home every 3–4 weeks for 2–3 nights per trip.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Applicants must have working rights for Australia.
Willingness to be on the road Mon–Fri within the assigned territory.
