Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join our team in creating engaging content for diverse audiences.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, assessing, researching, writing, producing, sub-editing, translating, and scripting multiplatform content for presentation.

This includes international, national, homeland, and local news, current affairs, and other relevant content as required.

You will also generate and develop content ideas for the relevant platform and language audience.

Establishing, developing, and maintaining contact with correspondents, stringers, and contributors is also a key aspect of this role.

Additionally, you will contribute to divisional objectives through participation in cross-language content and other initiatives.

Presenting audio content on-air (radio) and using/operating relevant on-air systems and equipment are also essential tasks.

Ensure all relevant content scheduled is broadcast and uploaded as required, including promos, advertising, and information campaigns and/or sponsorship announcements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong ability to research, write, produce, translate, and present audio content on air and/or online platforms.
  • Confident ability to craft engaging abstracts for online and social media (an understanding of SEO and CMS would be an advantage).
  • Proficiency in translating from English to German and vice versa.
  • Ability to work shifts to meet operational and audience needs.
