We are seeking a content creator to join our team. The role will involve producing engaging and informative audio content for our audience.

As a content creator, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles, conducting interviews, and editing audio content.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement content strategies that meet the needs of our audience.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, as well as experience in audio production.

They will also be able to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas.

This is a casual position with hours on a rostered or as needed basis. The role can be based out of Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role

This role involves undertaking a range of journalism and content production tasks to provide multiplatform content.

  • Plan, prepare, assess, research, write, produce, sub-edit, translate and/or script multiplatform content for presentation.
  • Generate and develop content ideas for the relevant platform and language audience.
  • Establish, develop and maintain appropriate contact with correspondents (stringers and contributors) and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to divisional objectives through participation in cross-language content and other initiatives.
  • Presentation audio content on-air (radio) including live interviews, talk-backs, coverage and outside broadcasts.
About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A strong ability to research, write, produce, translate and present audio content on air and/or online platforms.
  • Confident ability to craft engaging abstracts for online and social media.
  • Proficiency in translating from English to Korean and vice versa.
  • Availability for shift work to meet operational and audience needs.
