Financial Planning Manager

This is a key role within the AWS Australia Finance team, where you will be responsible for driving thoughtful analysis and controllership in the AWS Australia businesses.
- Implement and drive the core financial processes for the business, including investment evaluation framework and measurement, annual operating plans, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
- Identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities to the business, and drive ad-hoc business projects.
- Help refine the planning process and modeling improvements to drive positive free cash flow.
This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modeling background, problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and solid skills in project and people management.
This role has regular interaction with various business units across Amazon and requires strong interpersonal skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business experience
