Early Childhood Educator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team in providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a strong understanding of child development principles, and the ability to create engaging and interactive learning environments.

This role involves planning and delivering educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children aged 0-2 years.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula for children aged 0-2 years.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning environments that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators to plan and deliver educational programs.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Children's Services (or equivalent).
  • Diploma of Children's Services (desirable).
  • First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • Valid Working with Children Check/Blue Card.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly and provide support during peak periods.
