About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lifestyle and Community Coordinator to join our team at Bupa Aged Care. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs, promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation, and providing quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of recreational activity officers to promote holistic wellbeing and independence among residents
  • Develop and implement Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs that cater to individual resident needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan and organize recreational activities and events
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and work health and safety standards
  • Complete documented assessments to determine resident capabilities, needs, and problems
Requirements
  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree-level qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role or caring for the elderly in an aged or community care setting
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on resident-centered care
