Senior Member Service Generalist

Job Summary:
As a Senior Member Service Generalist at APGFCU, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with new and existing members by providing exceptional customer service, promoting financial products and services, and collaborating with branch management to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized service to members, addressing their financial needs and making recommendations to improve their financial well-being.
- Develop strong relationships with members by interacting with them, anticipating their needs, and offering credit union products and services.
- Collaborate with branch management to develop and implement business/sales plans, achieve sales goals, and ensure quality member service.
- Perform teller transactions, savings, and loan maintenance for members, while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supervise branch staff, coordinate daily workflow, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized training equivalent to two years of college (experience can be credited in lieu of education).
- Minimum four years of sales experience with financial institution products and services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience interviewing loan applicants and meeting sales goals for deposit, credit, and automated products.
- Six months supervisory experience.
- Previous credit union experience.
