About the RoleThis role is accountable for practicing at an advanced level, working collaboratively within the unit and with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care in complex situations, supporting colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, ensuring accurate recording of patient information and facilitating seamless care transitions.
- Foster effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients and families, promoting a positive workplace culture and excellent patient experience.
- Prioritise clinical duties efficiently, managing complex caseloads and utilising relevant information systems to drive optimal patient outcomes.
- Post-graduate qualification in Child Health is highly desirable and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife is required.
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases is mandatory.
